Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit today , protested and opposed the decision of J&K Govt. to cancelled the Holy Amarnath Yatra at the last movement.
Party President J&K , Manish Sahni said that J&K adminstration , mislead the devotees and hurts the faith with wasted millions of rupees.
He further said that cancellation of the yatra at the last moment proves the decision-making weakness of the J&K administration.
He said Initially, adminstration announced to start the Holy Amarnath yatra on 21 July and then suddenly in the late evening instructions are issued to cancel it.
Sahni said that Prime Minister Honorable Narendra Modi appeled to followed the guidelines and used to be lived with Covid-19. Jammu and Kashmir administration has also issued instructions to open tourist places. But religious Yatra’s are not becoming positive.
Sahni said that he understands the Corona crisis very well an not in favour to take any risk, but cancellation of the Yatra at last minute disappointed him.
Sahni appealed to the Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor to issue timely guidelines regarding Eid.
Sahni also welcomed the live darshan and arti from holy Shri Amarnath cave. On this occasion president mehila wing Meenakshi Chibber, working President Ashwini Gupta, Gen Secretary Vikas Bakshi, vice President Surjeet Singh Chib, secretary Raj Singh, Vice president mehila wing Sofia Sagu , were present.

Youth Congress holds protest against incessant fuel price hike

POONCH, July 22: Youth Congress today protested against incessant fuel price hike across the country, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government to rollback the prices.
The protest was organised by Youth Congress District President Idrees Gani and AYC President Fiaz .
Led by Uday Bhanu Chib, President J&K PYC, the Youth Congress activsts assembled at Bus stand poonch and raised slogans against the BJP Government over the rising fuel prices across the country.
Talking to reporters here, Uday Chib lamented that petrol and diesel prices are being increased daily when the entire country is hit by Covid-19 pandemic, and people are in crisis due to the lockdown. He said that the Central Government is looting the people by hiking the excise duty on petrol and diesel.
Chib said that the anti-people policies of the BJP Government are responsible for the high prices of petrol, diesel and LPG despite crude oil consistently remaining down to less than 50 per cent for the last six years. “International crude oil prices are the lowest in the last 15 years, yet petrol and diesel prices are skyrocketing, while the common people, the middle class, the farmers, the transporters and small and medium businesses are bearing the pain of high oil rates,” Chib rued.
Uday Chib accused the government of picking pockets of the common man and also taking away their livelihood.
Terming the hike in petrol and diesel price ‘historic’, Youth Congress activists termed the steepest fuel price hike will have cascading effects on other essential commodities effecting people already suffering from the exhaustive policies of the NDA Government.

In another major success on Anti Militancy front, Jammu and Kashmir police and Army’s Thanamandi based 38 Rashtriya Rifles in Rajouri have busted a militant hideout during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Manyal area of Thanamandi police station jurisdiction.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Chandan Kohli said that an information was received by police regarding suspected presence of an old militant hideout in Manyal area of Thanamandi after which teams of Rajouri police, Special Operation Group and 38 Rashtriya Rifles launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the late evening hours on Tuesday.

” The entire area was kept under cordon and in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, searches were launched during which a militant hideout established under a portion of dense bushes was busted.” said SSP.

He added that 01 Pike Rifle, 01 Chinese Pistol, 01 Local Pistol, 01 AK Magazines, 02 Pistol Magazines, 168 Pika rounds, 47 AK rounds, 04 pistol rounds, 02 UBGL grenades, 01 Binocular, 08 Ammunition belts, 01 Antenna and 01 Tape recorder have been recovered from the hideout busted during operation.

” The area is still under searches and SDPO Thanamandi Sajjad Khan alongwith SHO Fareed Ahmed and officers of army’s Rashtriya Rifles are monitoring the operation.” SSP said.

” Pro-active approach of forces and close synergy with all the sister agencies is playing it’s role and nefarious designs of anti social elements are being foiled.” SSP said.
